The GSA is a non-profit industry association with 840 members from 38 countries including women’s groups, brands and retailers, suppliers, non-profits and affiliates. As part of its project to improve the women shea collector’s capacity in Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire, the GSA in partnership with the Special Initiative for training and job creation implemented by Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH to improve women shea collector’s capacity in Ghana and Cote d' Ivoire for the next two years in quality shea kernels processing and cooperative management.
